My colleague told me the same story about his mom. She thought lol was meant "lots of love". She once texted him a serious matter and ending it with LOL. (with seriously distorted reenactment...but the jist of it....)He was like "mom that's not even funny"
Mom: "what do u mean?"
Him: "laugh out loud?"
Mom: "You want me to laugh out loud? are you insane?"
Him: "LOL that's what LOL is!"
Mom: "Silly its lots of love"
Him: =_=
I love this site to bits. It's everything i wish my blog was: funny, witty quotes, a treasure chest, and good-times entertainment.
